Christmas is one of the best times of the year especially for kids. It should even be more so when spent in one of the best places for kids – Disneyland. Here are the reasons why spending Christmas at Disneyland could be one of the gifts you can give your kids.

1. Santa’s Reindeer allows children to help Mrs. Clause decorate Christmas cookies.

2. Aside from baking cookies alongside Mrs. Clause, kids can also play Reindeer Games and make holiday souvenirs.

3. Kids get to see their favorite characters all dressed up in their holiday costumes. They get to enjoy snow with other kids and other Disney characters after a spectacular fireworks show.

4. You can shop for unique Christmas ornaments at the Christmas Shoppe. There are also special holiday rides that make your Disneyland Christmas even more memorable and enjoyable.

5. Plus, don’t forget to get a picture under the giant Disneyland Christmas tree.

In Disneyland, Christmas is considered an off-peak season so just expect crowds when you get there. Since several families may also be considering spending their Christmas at Disneyland, then you should make the necessary reservations as early as possible. Booking early reservations can land you great Disney vacation deals and packages.

Disabilities are no longer a hindrance in enjoying a tour in Disneyland. Here are options you can take if you or a disabled family member are planning to vacation in Disneyland.

Trade Crutches for Scooters

If you are on crutches, you have the option of renting a Disneyland Scooter to help you get around the park. For a reasonable fee of $35 a day and a $20 deposit, anyone who is above eighteen years of age and with a valid driver’s license will have a better way of getting around.

Wheelchair Options

Another option is to rent a manual wheelchair. The rental fee is relatively cheaper at $8 for the whole day and a $20 deposit.

The great thing about Disneyland is that entertainment area, restaurants and shops are accessible to wheelchairs. The only problem is going on rides. There may be rides that are not appropriate for those in wheelchairs such as the following:
-Donald’s Boat,
-Sailing Ship
-Tarzan’s Tree house

Of course, there are other options for the disabled to enjoy and these are the following:

-Disney Gallery
-Disneyland Monorail
-Disneyland Railroad,
-the Tiki Room
-The Golden Horseshoe
-It’s A Small World
-Mark Twain Riverboat
-Tom Sawyer Island

The following attractions require you to be moved from your wheelchairs:

-Alice in Wonderland
-Indiana Jones
-King Arthur Carrousel

If you need help, cast members and Disneyland service personnel will be more than happy to help you with Guest wheelchair transfers.

If you are visiting Disneyland with your toddler or baby, then you would probably want to know how to get around best without having to carry your child all day. The best way for you and your child to enjoy your Disneyland visit is by using a stroller.

Disneyland Strollers

Strollers are rented out in Disneyland at a very reasonable fee of less than $10 for the entire day. If you need a second stroller, they also give discounts.

The strollers are cleaned and well-maintained so parents can rest assured that these are safe for their little riders to use. However, since all strollers look identical, you can tie brightly colored ribbons to help set it apart from other strollers in the park.

Words of Caution

Whether you are inside the park or not, it is never advisable to leave your child unattended in the stroller. It is also imprudent to leave valuable materials inside the stroller with your child. Should you decide to bring your own stroller, make sure that you have an easy way of identifying it from other strollers that may look like it.

Disneyland Ticket Security – Why A Fastpass Holder Is Important

To enter Disneyland park, every guest should present his or her own Disneyland ticket. Aside from the entrace, Disney tickets are also used to get aquire FastPass tickets. Needless to say, this ticket is your crucial in getting around the park and should therefore be kept in a safe and secured place along with Disneland dollars and Disneyland Merchandise Cards.

The FastPass Holder

Getting a FastPass holder is one of the most practical step in keeping your Disneyland FastPass tickets, dollars and merchandise cards safe and secured. And because this is a small plastic pouch with a cord that one can easily hang around the neck, it allows for easy use of dollars and merchandise cards, too.

These holders are very affordable, if not cheap. If you’re planning to scrimp on holders, you might want to reconsider the decision. After all, one Disneyland ticket lost will cost you more than if you just get a holder to keep these tickets safe and secure.

Disneyland Dollars and Disneyland Merchandise Cards – Your Child’s Tickets To A Day of Adventure

Disneyland holds so many treats and adventures for kids that they can easily lose their money along the way of fun or spend it the wrong way. If you want to your kids to have their fun and make the most out of their Disney experience while keeping your own budget in check, the best way is to get Disneyland Dollars and Disneyland Merchandise Cards.

Disneyland Dollars at Disneyland works just the same way as cash does in the real world. They can be used for rides in the park, certain Disney hotels, and even in some local Disney stores in your area.

While Disneyland Dollars work like cash, Disneyland Merchandise Card works more like a debit card where the amount of money you load into it is the amount your child is allowed to spend. And because the card fits snuggly right into your child’s FreePass holder, there is less chances of losing the cards and the dollars.

Another way of keeping your expenses in check while allowing your child the best experiences possible is by getting a Disneyland Resort Gift Card. Unlike the Dollars and the Merchandise Card, the Disneyland Resort Gift Card can only be used at Disney resorts and in Disney stores that accept credit cards.

The Disneyland Resort Gift Card is not just for you or your kids visiting Disneyland. It can be given as gifts to friends and family who are planning to go there on their birthdays or on holidays.

Birthdays at Disneyland can make you or your child’s day even special. Here are some tips on how to make the most out of your Disneyland birthday.

1. Get the Birthday Sticker – Your birthday at Disneyland should start with a short visit at City Hall in Town Square where you will be given an Disneyland Birthday Button or Disneyland Birthdays Sticker. This sticker will let everyone at Disneyland know that it’s your birthday so you’re guaranteed of extra special treatment!

2. Order the Birthday Bucket – What’s a birthday without goodies? Disneyland understands that birthdays are made even more special with a birthday cake at their full services restaurants. At around twenty dollars, The Birthday Bucket will already include a Disneyland birthday cake and some Disney treats and goodies. At five dollars, you can also get Birthday Bag of goodies when you eat at Goofy’s Kitchen.

To make your special day last, don’t forget to bring along your camera. With your Birthday Button on, the staff and Disney characters at the park will be more than happy to pose with you!
